Ecohesion at the European Conference on Ecological Economics in Ghent

The Ecohesion Collective took part in the 16th Conference of the European Society for Ecological Economics (ESEE), held from 30 June to 3 July at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Ghent University.
The conference, titled Looking for (the) Just Judges – Promoting Sustainable and Inclusive Well-Being in Turbulent Times, brings together researchers and practitioners in ecological economics to discuss how to promote sustainable and inclusive well-being in the face of today's environmental, social, and economic challenges.
During the second day of the conference, three members of the Ecohesion Collective presented their research.
David Cano Ortiz from the University of Pisa presented the baseline scenario of the new Eurogreen+ model, developed in the draft paper Pathways for a Sustainable Economy Leaving No One Behind: The Eurogreen+ Model.
Simone D'Alessandro from the University of Pisa presented the draft paper Measuring the Economic and Environmental Effects of Well-Being through Macrosimulations, which explores the economic and environmental impacts of well-being using macroeconomic simulation models.
Finally, Julio Trejo Calzada from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona presented the draft paper Operationalizing Post-Growth Well-Being in a Cross-Country Analysis: A Cluster Analysis during the COVID-19 Pandemic, offering a comparative analysis of post-growth well-being across different countries during the pandemic.
