Matthieu Bordenave

Engineer and economist, currently pursuing a PhD as an MSCA fellow funded by the European Commission, in collaboration with the Universities of Siena, Pisa, UCLouvain, and IIASA. His research focuses on quantifying the economic and financial risks associated with biodiversity loss, particularly in forest ecosystems, through interdisciplinary approaches such as ecological-economic modeling and systems analysis. By integrating ecological data with economic models, he aims to inform policies that align financial systems with biodiversity conservation and strengthen economic resilience.
