Ecohesion will be in Oslo from June 24 to 27 for the international ISEE-Degrowth 2025 conference
This event brings together two major research fields – degrowth and ecological economics – and offers an important space for international dialogue on how to build socially and environmentally just post-growth futures.
This year’s theme, “Building socially just postgrowth futures – linking theory and action”, highlights the need to connect theoretical work with real and transformative practices. The programme includes plenary and parallel sessions, as well as cultural and social activities, and is organized in collaboration with universities, research centres, NGOs, activists and international networks.
As the Ecohesion collective, we will contribute to the discussion on ecological justice, sustainability, and the need to rethink dominant economic models, together with researchers and practitioners from all over the world.
