Professor Simone D'Alessandro in Ravenna to talk about climate and economics
The series “Escaping the Gas Chamber” will culminate in a demonstration held in Ravenna on the afternoon of Saturday, April 12, and will be accompanied by various parallel initiatives promoted by the student community, particularly the Mangrovie Collective and the End Fossil university campaign. The events will also be preceded by a series of thematic meetings hosted at Sala Buzzi by Legambiente and the Renewable Energy Community.
A strong emphasis will be placed on the close link between fossil fuel economies and increasingly dramatic scenarios of war, underlining how the mobilization to break free from fossil fuel dependency is also a step toward peace.
